Watch where you step

I will frequently be adding pictures of my artwork! So here's my first picture.

This was done with clay, fired and then painted. It is suppose to look as though the mangled hand is coming through the tiled flooring. This piece is called "Watch where you step."

I'm back!

Back from vacation! How sad .. I must now go unpack, do a load or three of laundry, and the most dreaded task ... go back to work.

/sigh.. I must say working two jobs takes a lot out of a person. I am constantly running around washing one uniform, changing between shifts, and attempting to work out two schedules that commonly like to over lap each other, ending in a fight over which work place will change the shift. I now know what it feels like to have both arms pulled in two separate directions.

Not only am I working constantly, but I am also attempting to work my schedules around college. How wonderful! Why not just drop the jobs and focus on school? Bills of course! /groan I would love to just focus on getting my education done and start on a full time job that I love, but then how shall I pay rent? I guess I shall make another try for a student loan? Or perhaps a bursary?

Well I best sleep while I still have the time!

Day one

This blank space I see before me is so intimidating I have just clammed right up. . .

Alright let's start with a game plan.

I have chosen the name Everyday in the Life of for the reason that it is catchy, and it can just about be anything it decides to.

Let's begin with what I have done today.
School: I finished carving my lino print and began putting it through the press. It has turned out wonderful!!

Shopping: Plenty of shopping to do, 3 stores later we have more than we need. Including Dumbo and Lilo and Stitch. How exciting, I have more to add to my collection. By the way, I have started to collect Disney movies. I love animation and the art from old Disney movies is very helpful to study.

I am now currently watching Dumbo, it's been years and years, and I love the little elephant. It's great to see it now, I remember it so differently than from what I am seeing now.

Well I should start packing for my trip shortly, I can't wait to relax! I will be back for more posts another time!

Nice to meet you
